জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সঙ্গে ইউনিকো হসপিটালসের সমঝোতা স্মারক চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত

জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাথে ইউনিকো হসপিটালসের সমঝোতা স্মারক চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। আজ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য কার্যালয়ের কনফারেন্স কক্ষে  বেলা সাড়ে তিনটায় এ সমঝোতা চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়। জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পক্ষে কোষাধ্যক্ষ অধ্যাপক ড. মো. সোহেল রানা এবং ইউনিকো হসপিটালসের পক্ষে প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা (সিইও) আদ্রা কুরিয়েন চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন।

সমঝোতা স্মারক চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর অনুষ্ঠানে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. মোহাম্মদ কামরুল আহসান, উপ-উপাচার্য (শিক্ষা) অধ্যাপক ড. মো. শামছুল আলম, সরকার ও রাজনীতি বিভাগের সভাপতি অধ্যাপক ড. নুরুল হুদা সাকিব, অধ্যাপক ড. কে এম মহিউদ্দিন, ইউনিকো হসপিটালসের চিফ অফ মেডিক্যাল সার্ভিস বিগ্রেডিয়ার জেনারেল (অব.) ড. মো. শরিফ আহমেদ, হেলথকেয়ার ডেভলপমেন্ট ও পাবলিক রিলেশনসের জেনারেল ম্যানেজার রুবি রেবেকা অরেং, কর্পোরেট রিলেশনসের সিনিয়র ম্যানেজার রেজাউল করিম উপস্থিত ছিলেন। 

এই সমঝোতা স্মারক চুক্তির আওতায় জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক-শিক্ষার্থী, কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারী ও তাদের পোষ্যগণ হ্রাসকৃত মূল্যে ডায়াগনিস্টিকসহ স্বাস্থ্যসেবা গ্রহণ করতে পারবেন।

MoU Signed Between Jahangirnagar University and Unico Hospitals

Jahangirnagar University, September 14, 2026

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Jahangirnagar University and Unico Hospitals. The agreement was signed today at 3:30 PM in the conference room of the Vice-Chancellor's office. JU Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Sohel Rana signed on behalf of the university, while Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Adra Kurien signed on behalf of Unico Hospitals.

JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, Pro-VC (Academic) Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam, Chairman of the Department of Government and Politics Professor Dr. Nurul Huda Sakib, Professor Dr. K. M. Mahiuddin, Unico Hospitals’ Chief of Medical Services Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. Md. Sharif Ahmed, General Manager of Healthcare Development and Public Relations, Ruby Rebecca Oreng, Senior Manager of Corporate Relations, and Rezaul Karim, Senior Manager of Corporate Relations, were present at the signing ceremony.

Under this MoU, teachers, students, officers, and employees of Jahangirnagar University, along with their dependents, will be able to avail healthcare services, including diagnostic facilities, at discounted rates.
